What is IMDbPro Discover?
IMDbPro Discover is an advanced search tool that allows members to find people and projects based on a variety of key IMDb data, experience, and expertise. It also includes advanced features to customize, export, and share lists.
We are excited to announce updates to Discover Title search for IMDbPro Premium members. On desktop, Discover Title has a refreshed, modernized look along with a new search feature. On the IMDbPro iOS app, Discover Title search is available for the first time. We will continue to update this experience after carefully reviewing all the feedback we receive.
What to expect on desktop:
- Refreshed design - Discover Title on web has a modernized look and feel. You will have access to the same full set of Discover Title search filters you use today.
- NEW Discover Assistant - Describe the titles you're looking for by genre, language, country, title type, production status, or certificate (G, PG, R, etc.) and the Discover Assistant will find the matching filters for you. The Discover Assistant matches filter terms, so the closer your wording is to specific filter terms, the better your results will be.
What to expect on iOS:
- Discover Title search, now on iOS - For the first time, you can search and filter titles directly within the IMDbPro iOS app. This is a new addition to the app, and does not replace any existing functionality.
- Core set of search filters at launch - The iOS app launches with a subset of the Discover Title search filters available on web. We are working to bring the full set of web filters to iOS over time, and will share updates as additional filters become available. Certain other features, such as saved filters, are also not available on iOS at this time and will be added later.
To get to the Discover Title feature on iOS, tap on the magnifying glass icon in the navigation footer in the app, then tap on the Advanced Title Search link at the top of the page.
What about Android?
Discover Title search is not yet available on the IMDbPro Android app. We're actively working to add this, and will share updates as soon as it's ready.
What about Discover People?
We're also working on refreshing Discover People search, and will share updates at we progress.
