IMDbPro Name Page Refresh - Early Access

We are excited to announce that starting today, we are gradually rolling out the option for IMDbPro Premium members to view a refreshed IMDbPro Name page design. The refreshed IMDbPro Name pages offer full data and feature parity with the current version, with an improved layout that prioritizes the display of information, and features that customers use most.

The early access experience will be rolling out to all IMDbPro Premium members over the next several, so you may not see the opt-in option yet. We welcome your feedback on this design directly, through the early access panel on IMDbPro Name pages!

Here's what to expect:

  • Feature parity - you will have access to all of the same IMDbPro data on the updated IMDbPro Name pages, including in-development credits, STARmeter rankings, contact data, representation info, and client rosters
  • Improved layouts - we are prioritizing the most-used information and features, such as contact data, client rosters, and research notes
  • *NEW* Research notes - jot down notes on IMDbPro Name pages - visible only to you - about meetings, talent opportunities to collaborate, and more
  • Mobile-friendly - you will have full feature parity between desktop and mobile web browsers, and can continue to use the IMDbPro app (available for both iOS and Android) for the previous IMDbPro Name page layout
  • More visibility to Connections data - you can see your shared titles and mutual connections with people across IMDbPro
  • Localized translations - view translated content if you have a non-English language preference set for IMDb

This refresh is rolling out gradually, so the opt-in option may not be available to you yet. You will only see the modernized version of IMDbPro Name pages when visiting other professionals' IMDbPro pages. For now, you will still see the current design of your own IMDbPro page, and on the IMDbPro pages of any clients you represent.

As you have the opportunity to use the refreshed IMDbPro pages, please share your thoughts through the included early access pop-up. Your feedback matters, and your input helps us make IMDbPro the essential resource for professionals in the entertainment industry.

Frequently asked questions

Can I return to the previous IMDbPro Name page layout?

Yes! The new experience is completely opt-in. You can return to the previous IMDbPro Name page layout at any time by clicking opt-out in the bottom right timer panel (may be displayed as a stop-watch icon).

Why don't I see the new design on my own IMDbPro page?

This first phase of updates focuses on the new experience when viewing other professionals' IMDbPro pages. Updates to your own IMDbPro page management experience are planned for later in 2025.

Is all my data still available in the new design?
Absolutely! All your professional data including contacts, clients, credits, and personal information remains exactly the same - we've simply presented it in a more modern, accessible format.

Does this work on mobile devices?
Yes! The refreshed design is fully responsive and optimized for both desktop and mobile web browsers. However, the IMDbPro mobile app will continue to use the current design for now.

I found a bug or issue with the new design. How do I report it?

Thank you for helping us improve the new design! Please describe the issue you encountered on our announcement thread in the IMDb Support Community powered by Sprinklr, including what device/browser you were using.

Our team regularly monitors this thread, and will investigate any reported issues.

When will this become the default experience?
We're currently gathering feedback during this opt-in phase. We'll share updates about future rollout plans as they're finalized.
